About The Tax Wizard
Established in 2004, The Tax Wizard has been serving the Central Texas region from Seguin to Kyle and everywhere in between. Family owned and operated, the company was first opened by Tom Edwards, and has since been inherited by his daughter, Kim Schofield as of 2011. The Tax Wizard is currently managed by Kim and her niece, Erika (both pictured to the left).
We pride ourselves on our knowledge, friendliness, and transparency. While the services we offer are easy to describe, the lengths we go to for each client to ensure the highest possible return is not. When a customer enters our office, we understand implicitly that their life experiences are different than the customer before.
To file taxes with the most accuracy, it requires one-on-one time to understand the situations present in our clients lives, and how to use our knowledge to make their tax-lives easier.
At the end of every business transaction, what really matters to us is if we were able to help. That help could be that our client is about to start up their own business and has a better understanding of how to deduct taxes for payroll, or it could be helping a family manage their taxes so that the stress doesn’t detract from the time that they are able to spend together.

Don't Miss the Deadline
INDIVIDUAL EXTENSIONS MUST BE DONE BEFORE APRIL 15th.
CORPORATE EXTENSIONS MUST BE DONE BEFORE MARCH 15th.
Unless a national emergency occurs, April 15th is the established Tax Deadline day for individuals every year. March 15th is the established Tax Deadline day for corporations and partnerships. However, we understand that life happens and time has a tendency to get away from us every now and then. The Tax Wizard is able to help you get your taxes back in order with services such as Extension Filing and Filing for Previous Years. These are extremely arduous undertakings which require a vast amount of paperwork and research. If you have missed filing your taxes, please let us take the reigns and deal with the IRS on your behalf. Our tax preparation experts are NATP/NSTP affiliated and ASFP certified so you can rest at ease when you put your situation in our hands.
