About The Tax Wizard

Established in 2004, The Tax Wizard has been serving the Central Texas region from Seguin to Kyle and everywhere in between. Family owned and operated, the company was first opened by Tom Edwards, and has since been inherited by his daughter, Kim Schofield as of 2011. The Tax Wizard is currently managed by Kim and her niece, Erika.

We pride ourselves on our knowledge, friendliness, and transparency. While the services we offer are easy to describe, the lengths we go to for each client to ensure the highest possible return is not. When a customer enters our office, we understand implicitly that their life experiences are different than the customer before.

To file taxes with the most accuracy, it requires one-on-one time to understand the situations present in our clients lives, and how to use our knowledge to make their tax lives easier.

At the end of every business transaction, what really matters to us is if we were able to help. That help could be that our client is about to start up their own business and has a better understanding of how to deduct taxes for payroll, or it could be helping a family manage their taxes so that the stress doesn’t detract from the time that they are able to spend together.
